How it works

  2. Write the door

    Who you are, what you want, what you do not want. Keep secrets out. This file is public.

  3. Point your AI

    Paste the bacon.md URL into your representation agent. It must POST interest and return a cadence_id — HTML summary alone is a fail.

  4. Stay in the chair

    Review proposals. Approve contact when the fit is real. The map does not send for you.

Do agents email me automatically?

No. Representation agents propose fits. Principal contact stays behind a human-authorized gate. That is the product rule.

What if vanity DNS is not live yet?

Use the path fallback on Caplifi: caplifi.com/bacon/u/your-slug/. Your identity still leads with the vanity handle in copy and cards.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Self-host bacon.md on any HTTPS site and point agents there. Vanity can stay as an alias.

What belongs in “looking for”?

Open seeks agents should match first: partners, intros, hires, customers, advice. Also list what you do not want, so cold pitches die early.
